Large Scale Biology, Photochemistry, Parallel Synthesis, Microfluidic Devices, Synthetic Biology, Bioinformatics, DNA Sequencing, Biomolecular NMR, Fast NMR, Protein Profiling
Our laboratory's major interests are in large scale biology related areas. Our research is highly interdisciplinary in nature, offering unique opportunities of learning and working in important areas of current interest in chemistry and biology. These include: Parallel synthesis and digital photochemistry of bio and organic molecules; Organic synthesis of novel compounds for parallel synthesis and biomolecular NMR studies; Photogenerated reagents for digital control of various bio and chemical reactions; Miniaturization of chemical and biochemical assays on microfluidic platforms; Multiplex bioreactions and gene synthesis; Bioinformatics of nucleic acids and proteins; Single molecule DNA sequencing and reactions; Biomolecular NMR and complementary spectroscopic methods; Fast NMR methods applied to multidimensional experiments and spectral analysis.
