Research and Expertise

Research Interests

1) Health services research in creating rehabilitation service areas in post-acute care (PAC) settings using Medicare claim data; 2) Research methodologies, including equating outcome measures (item banking, short form development) and quasi-experimental propensity score matching methods; 3) Testing psychometric properties of patient-reported outcome measures using item response theory models (Rasch analysis and 2-PL model); 4) Cross-national disability comparisons using international population-based survey data.
