While at the University of Michigan Dental School and Louisiana State University Medical Center between 1994 to 1998, Dr. Du worked in the field of chemical senses. He joined the Carlton lab in February, 1998. His research interests include investigation of receptors on peripheral nociceptors using an in vitro skin-nerve preparation.
