Dr. Anvari has an interest in both the clinical evaluation and translational research of food allergic disorders, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders and atopic dermatitis and has been focused on finding new therapies and improving the understanding of the disease pathology. Her primary research interest focuses on defining cellular and humoral immune profiles in individuals with food allergies and elucidating the mechanisms by which the body develops tolerance from oral immunotherapy. She currently leads research projects to further understand the immunopathogenesis of food allergies and the development of oral tolerance which will provide the groundwork for the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic options for patients with food allergies.
