Then, in 2009, I moved to the Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, Texas as a postdoctoral fellow working with Dr. Hung Ton-That to elucidate the mechanism of surface pilus assembly on Gram-positive bacteria.
