Research Interests

Pathogenesis from a traumatic brain injury to development of subsequent dementia; Immunologic changes that occur after a traumatic brain injury; Evaluation of drugs, biologics, devices and stem cell based therapies (derived from blood and fat collected with from adults) for treatment of traumatic brain injury; Development of intranasal drug delivery for treatment of traumatic brain injury; Brain and lung changes that occur during neurogenic pulmonary edema as a result of traumatic brain injury that negatively impact lung transplantation (mortality post TBI) and may contribute to chronic respiratory conditions (TBI survivor); Using multivariate analyses and data visual analytics of The Moody Project for Translational Traumatic Brain Injury Research behavior, genomics, proteomics and histopathologic data for hypothesis generation
