Dr. Cho's research employs neuroimaging (EEG/MEG/fMRI) and computational modeling approaches to understand basic mechanisms of cognitive and brain function in the service of novel therapeutic development for schizophrenia and other serious mental illness. Cho has extensive clinical experience in the treatment of psychotic disorders across the illness course, including early detection and interventions. He also has developed and directed neurostimulation treatment programs for treatment-refractory depression and has active research in novel neurostimulation techniques such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) targeting cognitive impairments in schizophrenia.
