Dr. Naash is widely recognized as an authority on genetic mutations associated with hereditary retinal disorders. She has achieved both national and international recognition for her work involving viral and non-viral ocular gene delivery. Dr. Naash has maintained an impressive, federally funded, research portfolio over the past two decades. She is currently the PI of 3 active NIH R01 grants, with total direct costs exceeding $3.3 million, extending out to 2019. In addition, she has active funding from Foundation Fighting Blindness and the Oklahoma Center for Adult Stem Cell Research.
