My long term scientific career goal is to establish the roles of non-coding RNAs in human diseases. In order to accomplish this, I plan to continue and expand in the next few years my previous work in the following way: 1. Identification of the Roles of microRNAs and Other Non-Coding RNAs in Cancer Predisposition. 2. Identification of Non-Coding RNAs Involved in Metastasis. 3. Identification of microRNAs and Other Non-Coding RNAs as Diagnostic and Prognostic Markers in Human Cancers microRNAs as the Oldest Hormones. 4. Development of New Therapeutic Strategies Involving microRNAs and Other Non-Coding RNAs.
